LMAO!Well this post certainly didn't go as planned.
Sage advice. I never understood my friends giving the person hell at the drive-thru. I would just look at them and say "you know you're eating boogers don't you?"He also may be your waiter at the restaurant. Always be nice to them. Hard to recognize snot in food.
Don't be dis'n on GC Experts... I've learned a lot there....
Did you know that the reason a Telecaster sounds like it does is the sound waves bounce around in the cavities underneath the pickguard before they get out? Huh? Betcha didn't know that!
Did you know if your Tele is too ice pick, you can put a three ply pickguard on it and it will tone it down and make it warmer. Betcha didn't know that either!
Another guitar salesman was looking at that salesman with an expression on his face I could not determine.... It could have been awe....Yeah, awe... Probably awe.... Yep, awe.... Had to be awe....at such awesomeness...
Or maybe he was hoping the Predator would pop in and demonstrate the skull & spine jerk on the idiot salesman...
I'd never ask about an alternator in a GC though....
I'd did ask at Radio Shack some years back after being pestered for the eleventy-seventh time by the same dweeb, while I was digging through components if he had a Tri-Phase Discombobulator...the Yellow one, definitely not the blue one.... He ran off saying"I think we have one of those... Lemme go check." Gave me the opportunity to find the diodes, Qs, and 'lytics I was looking for in peace and quiet... If that was mean, then guilty as charged...![]()
I saw a salesman playing Guitar on a Twin Reverb, I asked him if the Twin Reverb has an alternator. He was very puzzled, cocked his head at the amp, but I didn't tell him what it is. LOL
Never mind the fact that those guys work for minimum wage. Exactly what do you expect? Do you think they go home and spend hours poring over the latest tech magazines and pages in order to understand every detail of every piece of gear so they can sell it to you? If you wanted that, you really shouldn't have started squeezing the full-service independent, commissioned retailers to the point at which they had no choice but to go out of business.Something about all this seems so psychotic. Who does that to people, then posts about it on an Internet forum?
I haven’t been here in like two years and I love that people are still referencing that thread. All of this simply because the pedal had no box.
I used to sell products that were in direct competition with Rockwell, so most of that makes sense to me.
Siemens' spiel would be in German, however.
