Favorite childhood toys...

Original G.I. Joe. I had a large collection of figures, vehicles, accessories, etc.
I was in to action figures in general. I had Big Jim, Johnny West, Six Million Dollar Man.
Legos- I still have several pieces of the original set I got as a kid.

Legos.

Mine were sealed up and saved in a box that moved with me from house to house over the years. My youngest daughter has become a Legomaniac, and my old ones were added to her growing collection last year.

When I was a kid my parents got me some space station set with the rubber spacemen with wire cores so you could pose them, and they had plastic helmets with orange visors that looked cool as hell. This was probably circa Space Odyssey.

The water powered rockets were cool as hell. Did you ever have the jet one? Just like the rocket but would glide after it ran out of water.

Oh Man........I haven't seen this in about 35 years, one of my faves for sure.

I also had the Steve Austin $6,000,000 Man action figure, you could roll up the skin on his arm to change the robotics and look through his head to use his telescopic eye.

Also had a Big Wheel too, couldn't get me off the thing in the summer.

oh MAN! I had those exact same sets! My son still has what's left of the AT-AT. So cool!

No, but I had the two stage one. It was really hard to get it to work correctly, but really cool when it actually did.

My initial reaction was to shout(?) LEGOS! But once I got here I thought: doesn't anybody else remember boxes? Just a big, empty furniture or appliance box- it became whatever I wanted; a spaceship, a fort, a castle, a car, a plane, whatever. Nothing beats a good box.

I once found a tiny little barbarian looking figurine in my backyard when I was about 3 or so, and I think due to finding it, that was my favorite toy for awhile, even above my talking TMNT action figures.
