fEARful 1212/6, first build!!

His experience with his cab does not align with mine. I have owned/used the following greenboy cabs: 12/6/1, 15/6, 1212/6, 1515/66/1, F112, F115, F212, DuallyT, Bassic 12, Bassic 15.
The F212 and DuallyT are the best all around cabs. They ever so slightly edge out the 1212/6 in sound per pound, and over all quality of sound. That said the 1212/6 is simply amazing. The '66 is a monster. The 15/6 and F115 are the best sound/$$$ options, and the F112 will shock you in terms of what it can do, despite its size. The bassic 12 with faital driver is a great small practice cab, for me.

Because of where I live, as much as I clean my house I have a manhole in my backyard, I've seen roaches and rodents come out of it and get in my place, that's why I concerned...

All cleaned up now....like that other mess never happened....

I don't think I'm gonna put the pet screen in after all, ill just stuff something in the ports when not in use...im intrigued by having wheels on the back, but only if it doesn't cause noise...if it will I might just get a dolly, I also want to secure a rack on top like I seen another build(my phone wont let me post pic of that...)....
Yes - remove more - leave the full throat unhindered - ask yourself if your foam layers would impede the flow of slow moving water through the gap - if so, you need to cut it back more.

Well I guess it is possible that they might make noise. I doubt it would be a problem unless you cheap out on them. I would try to find something capable and durable over differing terrains.
And I use the extra foam from my 12/6 build as a table padding for when I work on my guitar.

Got to egg crate foam glued in, did a dry fitting with baffle to make sure it was all good...
Glued the back of the mid chamber on, I'm probably not gonna put foam on inside of baffle but only at the back of mid chamber and top, that should leave enough for top of port shelf *and* enough for me to stuff inside ports when I'm not using it
What kind of wheels were you thinking?? I ask because I thought about getting 4 locking swivel type instead of feet but was informed they would create noise, do you have a link or a name for the type by any chance??

At a minimum i would remove the X'd regions.
My damping wasn't as dense (2+ inches of polyester batting) but my recollection is that on the back of the cab it's a good idea to stop a couple inches north of the port shelf. so as not to choke the porting. Here's mine looking slightly ragged from a bunch of fussing about and changes across the first six months I owned it.
My 15sub similarly:
