It's all about the numbers. Delivery services closely regulate their routes. Drivers are timed and management is constantly pushing them for more efficiency.
A lot of supervisors don't care about the nuts and bolts of the operation as long as the numbers look good on paper. With that being the primary goal, customer service will suffer.
