I concur. I am not especially a Jazz bass guy but that is simply awesome.I understand... This Bass is a dream. The natural relic that this OW has is by far the most stunning I have ever seen.
I'm not saying it's a good take, I'm just saying I've heard that before.I don't know what you guys are talking about. Fenders were the cream of the crop in the pre-CBS years. There weren't a slew of luthiers building custom guitars back then like there is today. Made in U.S.A. production guitars were what everyone copied back then. Gibson's and Fenders were what you saved up to buy bank then, definitely not run of the mill.
