Yes, and I am the Squier guy. This guy apparently has no life. Really. I mean, that would take at least an hour to put that collage together.
I like how the seller spelled it "Squire" in his collage, while insulting others' intellligence.

Yes, and he also spelled "tongue" wrong.![]()
Got to say I wouldent trust or admire or respect anyone that poses as someone else for kicks, or delusions of being a self-proclaimed "Internet Policeman". You are just as much a fraud and game player ..and a very smug one at that.
Grow up kid- at 31 you should know better by now. Learn your instrument like was suggested and get out of the "internet for kicks buisness". If no one will pay that price ..then guess what..he wont sell it. If someone buys a bass over the internet for $32000 sight unseen not knowing what they are doing and makes a mistake... then its a lesson for the bold. When you are bold, you stick your neck out further, big gains or big losses.
Either way someone like you needs to stay off the internet.
( and I dont know any of the people involved in the sale)

I wanted to see the difference, but it appears that the 3rd bass (that is supposed to be a Highway One) is the same bass as the 2nd one just above it...Here are some links for you. Look especially at the back of the bass:

Thanks.
He really should just ignore those emails/comments, not post them into his auction. It turns off serious buyers.
Wow, someone is cranky today.
I am not in the "internet for kicks business". I saw a fraud/rip-off eBay auction and took it down. And I would do it again, in a heartbeat.
And I really don't care what Tune-O-Matic sells his vintage bass for. If someone wants to pay $50K for it, who am I to judge? My original post was simply expressing surprise at how expensive these vintage models are getting. I do not judge him in any way for his pricing.
If I owned that bass, and I could fetch $32K for it, I would go for it. However, I happen to think it will never sell for that much, but who can blame the dude for trying?
However, we can blame the dude for being a complete jerk, which apparently he is, based on his replies to auction inquiries (see the auction) and his "photo collage" of personal insults against TB members (see his auction).
And as for being an "Internet Policeman", you're the one who just ordered me to "stay off the internet".![]()
You miss my main point......I have no respect or trust for anyone who disguises, lies, or misleads about their identity behind a computer. If you can do that, then you've crossed a line that you are not capable or developed enough to understand (obviously).
My post was not nearly as much to try to convince YOU of anything, but to reach past you to others here (maybe very few here) to get them to think beyond an adolescent mentality- which would be good for this forum in general.
Buddy, welcome to the Internet. Everyone is disguised behind a computer. Just like...well, you. Or is your birth name "Low-bs"?
There is nothing "adolescent" about stopping scam artists on eBay. I have done it before, and I will do it again.
As for your respect and trust, I have absolutely no need or desire for it. Please troll somewhere else.
*You* are scamming "Buddy"...and your justification is adolescent.
The true Troll is someone who pretends to be an interested party with no intention of being one on an auction...and then baits the seller in inflammatory threads on internet boards...if thats not a textbook definition of an internet TROLL then it dosent exist.
Any room in there for a true look in the mirror "Buddy"?

he should thank us for stealing pictures of us![]()
Check the original Ebay listing, but here's a bit of a synopsis:Where the hell did this come from? I'm pictured here, and I'm not happy about it. What's the story on this?
