Fender Rumble Club

I can see from the pictures that the 2x10 is the same width and height with the 1x15 cab.

The 1x12 is the same width with 1x15 cab,but deferent height.

The 2x10 speakers is diagonal like the 2x10 500 combo.

Is this what we whant? Yeeeeeeeeees .:hyper:

I sure hope not. The weight on that is too high. Why would a 210 combo weigh in at 36 lbs, but a 210 cab weigh in at 44 lbs?

Dimensions are off too, so it wouldn't match the 500 combo all that well...

And at only $20.00 lower than the V3 410 cab... I would tend to go for the 410 cab and beg for help moving it...
I could see the new cabs being a little heavier than the combos, if they're using steel bar handles and stronger lumber for the standalone cabs.

However, I wouldn't sweat the details based on LA Music's listing.

They are a discounter in Toronto, that often posts new products based on preliminary Canadian pricing information. That way, they can start taking preorders before they even have firm availability information. The same thing happened with the Squier VM Bass VI, and other products I've tracked over the last few years.

If you look closely at the Rumble 112 listing, it's a mixture of info from new and existing products. I assume that they will update the listing as they get more accurate data.

For the time being, the only thing I would count on from those listings, is that the pricing is accurate if you're doing a pre-NAMM preorder with LA Music.

Yes, that is actually the Rumble 200 combo on top of the new Rumble 112 cab. So the new cabs are an exact match for the Rumble 200 & 500 combos.

IF the 210 is a good match to the 500 combo, and not too much heavier (assuming say a couple of pounds added for heavy duty side handles) then I will certainly snap one up, especially at the price point of 3 bones...

I would have figured. It would be nice since there are so many Fender Rumlbers here if they would put something out here...
Fender never officially gets themselves involved in various forums with the exception of their own Fender Lounge, and even then it is rare to see an official response. Announcements, yes, but responses to personal issues are, as I said, rare occurrences.

Groovy, Man, Groovy! :smug: Leave it out of it's gig-bag, and let that bag air out for a time. Let it 'cure' if you will.
One thing I noticed, the knobs themselves have sort of a soft/sticky texture, particularly on the front. Both on the stained and the clean ones. I wonder if they are the parts that need to "cure", rather than the bag!? I wonder if I (we) should just stop talking about knobs!?!

Uh, huh... Especially soft sticky knobs.

I swear that show killed brain cells...

Seriously though. Why are the knobs soft / sticky on the Rumble heads, but not the combos? You would figure they would be out of the same parts bin...

The knobs are actually called "soft touch knobs" that is in the description of the new rumbles if I can remember correctly. They do have a perceived softness to them when you turn
them, even though they are actually hard. I noticed that on my combo when I first started to twiddle. The sides of the knobs feel kinda like a soft rubber.
