Good on you. I only made it to 35. 5 + 15 + 15. 0 for 3. A TBI and PTSD are not conducive to long-term relationships. Did the best I could. I envy you all.

Rumble 200 combo and 115 ext cab. I hear lots of comment that the 200 isn't loud enough, but with the ext cab it's more than I've ever needed. My G&L L-2000 sounds great through it. Doesn't mean I don't want the new 800 combo though LOL

Okay, married at age 30, turned 70 last month, that makes it 40 years this August.

I got a Rumble 40 v3 last month for home practice and quiet gigs. It does just what I needed.

G&L's MFD pickups are the bomb, the pinnacle of Leo's design career. I have one on my Fullerton Deluxe Fallout shortie. I see the toggle switches, so I assume that the L-2000 also has the OMG pickup mode.

This L-2000 has a parallel/singlecoil/series mode switch, and the active/passive option, and pickup selector, it has lots of tonal possibilities !

Just passed 34-1/3 years- half my life, the best half!. First and only for me. She had 12 more before.
Airstreaming at Lake Cachuma near Santa Barbara for January. Only us ‘longterm’ campers here since the new years eve rush left. CA-154 in and out closed for a week now, campground may open to public again tomorrow if the road officially opens. We have backroad detours to go get beer.
Using my JOYO cheapo combo bass amp to jam with my buddy. Great little $50 practice amp that does okay in the Airstream.

Hey everyone - just joined the 500 Rumble club! Bought it brand new in the box at GC last weekend - am really enjoying it. Replacing my Ampeg BA 2-10, which BTW, I have no complaints about it - just trying to go a bit lighter in my older age. Bought a small, compact dolly which raises it about 3" off the ground - really looks cool, but sounds even better a bit raised. Really enjoying the Vintage knob, really helps to tame my Ibby SR 800, which is hot, especially with the Bart pups. I use DA XL 170's, so yeah, helps with the higher end as well. Also have a P-Bass special which sounds really nice and minty as well. Glad I joined the club!!

We're glad to have you, Benjy! Man, I'd sure love some binge-jammimin'! It'd sure beat binge-TV.

Can I assume you got the Rumble 500 combo, to replace the other combo? I've got a 7-year-old R500c, still going strong.

Asking again since my post got buried - Does anyone have a Rumble 60? I'm wondering if anyone knows what the flat EQ settings are for it. Right now I've got it set the same as on the Rumble Wiki (B-10, LM-1:30, HM-2, T-9:30) but wasn't sure if the 60 is different.

I play through a Rumble 60 (not mine) at band practice but haven't had much time to play around with the controls yet but I'm not loving the tone. Does anyone know if the tone settings for a flat response are the same as the v3 settings in the Rumble Wiki?

I don’t know. The Rumble 60 is a V1 designed over 20 years ago, and there have been significant changes in the 2 generations since then. There are these differences in the EQ knob specifications, which may be the biggest answer to your question.

Rumble 60 V1 EQ Spec.s

Rumble 40-500 EQ Spec.s

But there are also several other outward obvious differences in shape filters, Gain implementation, and other things that probably figure into it, as well.

However, for lack of any other suggestions, or an ear that can detect "flat EQ", the 10, 2, 2, 10 setting is probably as good a start as any.

I wouldn't sweat it too much. Start there and adjust until you're happy. Ultimately it's the sound that matters.

Based on recommendations herein, I searched cover makers' web sites. I ended up going with Custom Amp Covers because they offered the most bang I needed[1] for the buck. Inspired by Yelena Romanov, I asked, and they were happy to add a cable pocket at $10 per cover.
The only surprise was when I saw the shipping cost. I dug a bit and realized then the covers would be coming from Bulgaria. That's fine, it just upped the cost some, and means it will take the covers longer to arrive. I still bought two (one per R100). I'll review them soon after they arrive.

Just a quick word on my R40.

I swapped the speaker for a little more acuity, head room, loudness and a bluesy tone. That's why after reading AstroSonic's speaker swap thread, I went with the Dayton Audio PA255-8 for the Blues/Rock tone.

Yes, the bass is in it's natural daily use state! Smudges and all!

Tonight I was getting that low end punch I was after, while modestly pushing the amp. It was great with the Gary Clark Jr. and Black Crowes I was rockin' tonight. Deep and punchy.

While my other brand amp does most all my other tones, the rumble will have to stay in the stable. Maybe even try to get the R200 that's for sale not too far from me, for the louder jam sessions and small to medium gigs I'm looking at sometime this year. I don't see needing to swap speakers in that amp.
