First song you ever played on stage?

my first was Train Tracks by Ian Moore. I heard the song on a thursday for the first time, thought it was a great groove, my buddy said, hell, why don't you sit in saturday night and play it.
I was nervous as hell, never been on stage before, never played with a whole band before. I could barely hear the bass, I could hardly hear the drums, there was one part I thought I was getting lost so I stopped to listen carefully to the kick, then started up again. I was so embarassed about having to stop like that, but it was better than getting off time or playing the wrong line.
I was talking to a buddy of mine later, and when I told him what I was embarassed about he said he couldn't tell, it just looked like I was rocking out and that was part of the song, LOL
guess I got lucky. glad noone knew that my "rocking" was actually my knees shaking

The first was an original by my high school metal band, at the high school talent show. Later in the show I played Iron Man with some other guys.

Two years later I was jamming with some guys from another high school, and we did their battle of the bands and played some Clutch, Rage, and Korn covers (hey, it was 1996).
