This was built for a longtime friend of the shop's and he wanted us to build him a "Fodera P-Bass." Boy did we (if I do say so myself). For a couple of days Joey and I nearly got into fights over who should keep "testing" it out! There will be many more of this kind of thing in the future...we simply loved the sound!

that was number three for me around mid 84 as i waited about 8 -10 months between #2 and #3. 5 string emperor was about year after that. as nostatic always says - gateway!!!!

This was the exact bass that was the inspiration behind my Monarch order (what I wanted it to be modeled after). I know Joe Sanchez owned it at one point, and there are a number of videos of him playing it on youtube.

Cool bass.

There was also a darker buckeye 5 string made at one point, too.

Super excited! Just got word that my new monarch will be done next week! Super excited! A couple months ahead of schedule! Paying off the remaining balance on monday, then loosing about a week of sleep!

Delivery date was scheduled for may 1st, so you could image what a pleasant surprise it was to see that email and picture today! Thanks to Jason for all of his wonderful support, and thank you to Vinny, Joey, And all of the incredible and talented people at the shop for doing such an amazing job!
