And a MG5 in the works :smug:

This was built for a longtime friend of the shop's and he wanted us to build him a "Fodera P-Bass." Boy did we (if I do say so myself). For a couple of days Joey and I nearly got into fights over who should keep "testing" it out! There will be many more of this kind of thing in the future...we simply loved the sound!

J

So is it just a regular dual coil?

Please send me an email at the shop to remind me to ask Vinny and Joey about it on Monday...I do not know the story behind it myself...

Regards,

J

Hey Jason...can you weigh in a little bit on this Fodera? I have received tons of pm's about the style of it but don't really want to guess on what Joe wanted when he had this made by Vinnie and Joey

This was the exact bass that was the inspiration behind my Monarch order (what I wanted it to be modeled after). I know Joe Sanchez owned it at one point, and there are a number of videos of him playing it on youtube.

Cool bass.

There was also a darker buckeye 5 string made at one point, too.

Gotta say, that was my first thought when I saw it (Fodera P-Bass), and it most definitely is a nice thought... :ninja:
