Future Impact now available!! WAS: deep impact reissue!!! interested?

FYI. I successfully transferred my v4 into a "future compact" housing without too much difficulty. The new improved v4 metal stems for the knobs are wider than the v3 plastic stems and so I had to drill the holes out a wee bit (used a 5/16" bit). But other than that it fit perfectly.

^Nice, I may do something similar as I dig a smaller format. Looking forward to testing it next week, mine should arrive soon.

I like hearing the tracking is even better, my V1 was the best tracker I’ve tried. Controlling my moogs with the FI has me super excited too, I love me some moog bass with a fast attack!

Has anyone tried using the Misa Tri-bass with future impact before?
That is a rare beast there. I have been fortunate to use a Peavey MIDI bass to track some parts my FI v3 and it was very successful and I often use mine with a keyboard or sequencer for some types of parts that works very well.

Mine arrived yesterday. Looking forward to trying it tomorrow, I bet it will sound mighty fine through a tube compressor and tube amp. The MIDI to CV cable didn’t make it yet so I’ll probably have to wait a couple weeks for that to come in.
I'm still anxiously awaiting the shipment and arrival of my order for a V4 and CV/Gate cable. Look forward to reports from those that have had some time to tinker.

WOW, this is the best synth pedal I’ve tried. Just gone through all the presets. The lead sounds are exactly what I need to keep from reaching for a keyboard and stay with my floppy bass strings, number 38 especially. I put a section of one of my songs on loop and just got gnarly with it for 30 minutes. It was gloriously nasty.

I love this thing!

Some patches have that tracker synth tone I try to avoid but the ones that don’t tell me I can edit it out. I think this thing thrives in funky madness. Well done Pandamidi, well done!

It’s early, but I can say with confidence, this is the first synth pedal, including V1 and C4, that I will not be selling and it will find its way to my music. It feels so natural in my fingers, I only need to play the dynamics, I don’t have to worry about the tracking at all. Sorry for the long gush but this thing is fabulous!

Good to hear you’re enjoying it.

Patch 38 is one of the ones I programmed. It was part of the original v3 soundset.

What do you mean by “tracker synth tone”? Which patches? What part of the sound don’t you like? All patches are fully editable/replaceable so you can set it up exactly to your liking.

There are loads more patches I shared for free in the cloud.
