I caught a glimpse of an L-1000 in this Pamplemoose video. Love seeing G&L stuff in the wild. Plus these guys sound great.

Yes, same body. It is a great looking shape.
It's a great playing shape, too. I don't love the extra bulk on the L2000 by comparison. But I find it very easy to switch back and forth between my SBs and my Warwicks.
Interesting! I think the L + M series body shape is perfect for me however I’ve never played an SB. I’ll be on the lookout for one to try.

Quick and dirty tone demo on the Fallout
My SB1 has returned. Total time gone was 2 months and 2 days. New neck. The fingerboard looks amazing. The old one did too but this one stood out as soon as I opened the box.
