I just wish they'd bring back the original body style of the L-#000s
The body on that SB-2 just looks sooo svelte!
I still really want to check out a Kiloton, which I believe has the same body dimensions.
Yes, same body. It is a great looking shape.
It's a great playing shape, too. I don't love the extra bulk on the L2000 by comparison. But I find it very easy to switch back and forth between my SBs and my Warwicks.
Interesting! I think the L + M series body shape is perfect for me however I’ve never played an SB. I’ll be on the lookout for one to try.
The second series of the SB is the "Original Dinky"
Here's my review of my beloved L1K CLF. This thing is a tonal sledgehammer and I love it
Nice to see you here! Your review of the fallout is cool aswell
I dug your review too. Thx for doing it!
The smile on your face when you’re playing it says it all. Really enjoy your reviews.
Just watched it with Sunday morning coffee! A great way to start my day @LowEndLobster . I should send you my USA L2000 for a comparison video!
I told him YouTube he needed to do an L2K and SB-2 review too.
Quick and dirty tone demo on the Fallout
My SB1 has returned. Total time gone was 2 months and 2 days. New neck. The fingerboard looks amazing. The old one did too but this one stood out as soon as I opened the box.
Agreed. That fingerboard is pretty!
i took some additional pics because my plan was to sell this one. But between the grain of the Okoume and this new fingerboard I dont know if I want to now.
Looks fantastic. Curious how you find the tone of the okoume as compared to ash/alder. I'm debating a build and not sure if okoume or not.
I’d have to hang on to that for a while and see how it goes. Too pretty for a quick flip!!
