Does anyone have an audio example of the K-mod? My 4 L2ks are plenty versatile as is but I'm curious to hear the difference with the coil tap.

Once again, I'm back in. I got this Empress LB-100 from Rocket Music back in June. I keep falling in and out of love with G&L admittedly, but this is my hands down favorite. The tone, feel, and playability is exactly what I want.

First off I want to say your LB-100 is AWESOME looking, 2nd what was it about your other G&L basses that you liked & didn't like?
The only reason I'm asking I'm in the middle of working on getting a custom order done thru Rocket Music on a LB-100, I've been JONESING quite a while for a LB-100 and if I get this order done I want to make sure once I get a LB-100 I will never let go of it.
Here's a picture of my new L2000 with the Leo Fender family. Can I have a number?

Was the stupid deal one a Tribute model?
I love the Blue/Tort P.
First, awesome basses!Just realized I never posted my new(ish) LB-100 here. Love love love the sound (with GHS Precision flats right now). I only marginally wish I would have chosen the #8 neck to match my JB. I stuck with the #12 because I wanted to stay "true" to the P-bass thing (silly, I know). Going back and forth feels a bit odd right now - like I have to choose which neck I like better. The #12 is great but I might still prefer the #8. Anyone else play 2 different necks regularly? How do you deal with it cognitively?
