But just to illustrate, I was not able to play for more than hour at a stretch for the entire month of May--and my baseline isn't that great, either. I don't want to subject others to that.

When Wendy O. died, I lived in a boarding house just down the road in Manchester CT. I was a punk, but only following local, active bands at that point, so didn't know her or her music. But I remember how much it affected everyone in the scene. I guess she retired to bumf*** CT because she hated people, but there sure was a lot of love for her.

Holy crap that is cool...Status necks are IMHO the best graphite out there at the moment.
I have played a handful of graphite necked stingrays and enjoyed them. So I jumped on this one. Always like the L-1000 and the Status neck is GREAT!
My pipe dream since starting to play bass again is to start an all-male, all-drag Luscious Jackson cover band.
