His slapping is decent in this one, but I don't want to see slapping. His finger style still sounds awful to me.

Yeah it is still bad imo as well but at least with the finger style, there isn't as much string buzzing on frets, and incoherent, out of time licks being played. At least he's giving the notes some room to breathe as opposed to blasting 32nd note syncopations haha. Silver lining I guess.

Maybe I haven't sat through his videos enough lately, but I thought the finger style was very buzzy and out of time noodling that didn't let the notes breathe....

I've decided to go ahead and replace the pickups in my Tribby JB-2 to try and get some low end out of her. A couple of questions:

- I've read that import J basses have identical routing for both the neck and bridge position. However, I was unsure which position they favor, the bridge or the neck? I would assume neck as they are smaller and I'd rather not have to do anything irreversible to get new pickups in there.
-Any suggestions? The two primary pickups I'm looking at are either the Dimarzio Model J or the SD Quarter Pounder, as both of them seem the most MFD-ish out of my choices, but let me know if I'm missing something.

Thanks in advance!
