Found this nice L2000 Blue Burst fretless,maple binding,couldn't resist! Now got to let my 1998 CherryBurst LB100 go to cover getting it now. Probably be listing in Classifieds here soon.

Got a pickguard for my JB Tribute from another TBer . It's a Chandler from a U.S. JB . Not a perfect fit but I really like it on the Tribute . The two screw holes on the lower horn don't line up and there is a small gap between the control plate and the pickguard but you can't really tell unless you look close . So a U.S. JB and a Tribute JB have different pickguard mounting and spacing . I'm going to use it like it is without drilling new holes so I can put the original back on if I want . It looks great the way it is .

Beautiful! If it sounds half as good as it looks that will be quite the bass!!
They say you can’t play with your eyes, but boy some of these G&L finishes really knock it out of the park.

Love the burst, but that maple binding is the secret sauce. Beautiful bass!

Or they got some dust on their barcode reader so occasionally build specs go unnoticed. Its either that or bad lighting angles.

I find it too bad that the angle that they use doesn't let us really see the whole bass. This is especially disappointing when there is a painted headstock.

Sorry for asking what is probably a well-known answer, but what is the benefit of a quarter-sawn neck vs. a flat-sawn one? I assume there is some increase in stability? Anything else?
