Saturday Reprise.

John Lennon used to say that he couldn't play the best but he could make a good noise. Some musicians simply have music dripping out of them. Graham Nash is like that. He can take a simple song and make it warm your heart.

The back story to Our House.

His first band was The Hollies. School friends that knew how to take raw playing, much like The Beatles and turn it into a great song. It has to start with a very good song though. I've come to believe that a great sound that catches listeners ears is not perfection, but the combination of rawness that creates something that is greater than the sum of the parts. This song demonstrates that.

Bonnie's voice makes me melt. What a gorgeous, and forgive me, but, sexy voice. Agree too that Sheryl Crow is incredible. Loved the Beatles Take me Back. I love them more now than when I was young. They seemed to be chasing the music trends more than creating them--BUT-- them spreading new trends influenced the world because of their global status... so there's that-- six of one or a half dozen...
