I probably gave more thought to how the nubuck strap would pair with the LPB bass than is likely wise to admit. Which, I just did.
Repeating a tale in TL;DR form — a hobbyist accurately replicated (many of) the original Fender colours as fountain pen inks. The inks proved quite popular and were sold nationally until his death. He left no records of his work. The brand, and the ink, is no more.

One thing turned out great, though. The big finale for the Music Man. I talked the director into letting me lead the "band" through the theater, while the real band played. Crowd loved it. Didn't matter that the instrument players in the "band" had no idea how to hold or even fake playing. 'Twas hilarious!
