Working for Monopoly money would make a good country song.[/ATTACH]
I think La Contessa would have a good perspective to write the lyrics. Whatcha think, Gwen?

I’m working on my Marantz 2252B tonight. ...... Did a boneheaded thing and blew a 40 cent fuse. None on hand.
What kind of gum are you chewing right now? Still have the rapper wrapper?

Printed my me years ago at Labwork®.

Part of why I like working(when we do)with this band. We rarely play later than 2200. Home by 2300. Used to work 2100-0200. Even NYE, we were done @ 0015. BTW, would take a good paying C&W gig in a heartbeat. Even have a 5er I can use. View attachment 4188598. EDIT: Oh. And this.

Oh, yeah! And, lemme guess, ... ... you are smiling, right? Am I right, or am I right. I know I'm right, right? :D

This Isn't Happiness

I was just looking at the new Leica CL this week and decided not right now. Not to the gear, but it's not strictly my doing of late. That part of me swinging dual Leicas ... that feels very far away to me now. What I found is not likely to repeat
though I saw some pretty cool stuff

all my old photos are gone anyway, probably even the published ones. (and I'm not looking)

I have no photographic evidence of my life, all was lost.

I can get lost at Invalid Link Removed. A camera equipped small drone would be nice.

Ha. How about don't turn down paid work.

And actually I'm none too keen to drive an hour home after load-out at closing time :meh:

I've turned down paid work. Depends on what, where, when, who. I don't know what public gigs pay now since it's been so long. 20 yrs ago public gigs would pay 200-300 to be split with the band. Money is in private events if you are part of a well known working band catering to parties, weddings, special events.

For me playing in a group was for fun, the pay was gravy. Twice a month was most I ever wanted to gig. Once a month would be borderline now. lol. The school thing is pretty fun, once a week, 2-3 gigs a semester. All within 30 mins of the house. The graduation gig at the Allen Event Center is 5 mins away. I like that kind of gig!
