Did you like driving at night? A lot more dangerous.

Preferred it. Much less traffic once out of city areas, interstates in FL are largely away-or have bypasses-from city centers. I could get out there and 'hammer down' pretty much as I wanted to. Plus, sitting up higher(my feets were above most car roofs)I could see farther down the road. And-back then anyway-lotsa chatter on CB radio.

I lived a couple of blocks from there on Church right around the corner from the infamous Nectar's Restaurant, one of the great underage drinking haunts at that time, or so I've been told.

Trimmed shrubberies this morning. Had to get on a ladder for the top of one of them. Don't care much for ladders. It might have a chain saw applied to it next year to shorten it a little.

I like some of their stuff, I heard them constantly, Carter Allen who was a Boston WBCN DJ and music director played the first U2 record in the U.S. and pushed them constantly and I heard them whether I liked them or not, I liked their early stuff better than later though.

I just Googled a page with used original MM parts on it and it is all crazy expensive.
I had a fellow TBer (endorsing artist and awesome player to boot) do some work on the electrical end of a MM Sabre that I have. The multi-pole switch has crapped out on it. He told me that I might want to just work around it if I can. Mine is a 1979 pre EB and from what I now see it was not bad advice.
