Made it through the hip surgery today without a hitch and it doesn't feel all that bad. I probably still have some lingering effects from the drugs they gave me today, so we'll see how it is in the morning. So far better than expected.

Thanks, I really do like it here, despite the fact that we just had a 5.9 "aftershock" two days ago that further damaged our house. We are okay and the house can be repaired.
Not too far away from here is a small three story hotel on the top of a hill that is now leaning at a thirty degree angle as it looks like the hill and foundation are slipping.
