I'm 51 and grumpy is what happens when you run sound 25+ years for a bunch of ungrateful, moronic musicians who are always too damn loud.

I don't give a rat's rearend if I get a number or not.

I rode faders (still do), accumulated some Sound gear, and just for personal relaxation would pick guitar chords and sing nice old folk songs to myself.

Well, I went and put together a music room, and all was well until someone had the bright idea that I should put a drum kit in there. Before I knew it these effin’ musicians (I don’t much like musicians—almost as delusional as “actors”, but that’s another story) stormed my place, kicked me to bass then dragged me on stage…

Okay that’s not really why I’m grumpy (‘cept I still hate lead guitards, and hopefully there’s a special place in hell for whoever had the bright idea to make electric guitar a lead instrument, but I digress),

but yeah, I’ll take a number, reluctantly though since you let these kids under 40 in here—I just ain’t right.

Oh, I’m almost 57, going on 77.

Last weekend it snowed. Usually I wouldn't care but it also rained and sleeted. Bout 4 or 5 inches total of really wet , sloppy , soupy sludge. Pulled out the snow blower and the sludge just clogged it up. The stuff weighs a ton so my crappy back says no shoveling. Then the snowplow came by and left a 12 inch pile of the stuff around my car. Then it got really cold (not the cannuck cold , just enough to really freeze the slop.)Now my Firebird is frozen in place and my P.U. truck gets stuck every time I park it. I tried to get some sand from the job site but it was frozen solid too. Checked the week long forcast and didn't see any temps. that will melt any of this stuff off.To top it off , my hose is frozen too and I ran out of Baileys Irish Cream yesterday.The wife says I seem grumpier than usual. Well........ duh. Saw a sign driving by a church in my work truck yesterday that said "To those of you praying for snow , please stop." Amen

damn. It's just chilly and windy here with a little drizzle of sleet no and then… worse winter in Cajun history. I'm not old enough yet to be in the club, but sometimes I get a little grumpy. Hopefully, I'll grow into it.

He's still a pup, but he's grumpy because the rabbits ain't around. His name is Marmaduke and he ain't no hound dog 'cause he has caught a rabbit or dozen! Don't need a gun with Duke, he'll just run and bring the critters to you… horribly squirming and sometimes screaming…. a rabbit sounds like a mouse when its a feared.

My dog, Neener, killed a skunk on two different occasions. You would think that he would have learned after the first, but no. And naturally his first thought after he did the deed was to run back inside the house. Fun times were had by all...
