Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

My guy had a friend who was recently sued after a patient crashed his car. I think he was oversensitive about the risk of a suit. Thing is, I've been driving since I was 25 in the UK and Canada. I have always had a clean license. I still hold a valid UK driving license. Just this last June I drove my wife and I around the UK in a Jaguar on the "wrong" side of the road and with a manual transmission. No problems encountered. I last did that in 1973. I admit that this suspension makes me feel somewhat like a child who has been naughty!! I've done nothing wrong but my ability to just go and get stuff done has been badly affected. I no longer have the ability to be spontaneous. I have a rehearsal this evening. Our singer, Shane, is picking me up and dropping me home after. To get to the doctor's office for the test I have to rely on my wife to drive me.

Paul, I know we're a long way away from each other and only casual Internet aquaintences but for the life of me I don't understand why they're doing this to you. You have the Heart of a Lion and you wouldn't harm so much as a Flea, even as ugly as that guy is, and with such a forceful personality.

It really pains me to see them take the liberties of those among us who have spent their lives doing for the rest of us.

Years ago, they wanted to restrict vehicle usage in Sun City, Calif. The old folks had a choice of walking, biking, or taking a golf cart. In no time, some of the old dudes hot-rodded their carts to the point of becoming a menace to themselves and the general populace. Goes to show that sometimes you keep your head in the game the best way you know.

I have congenital risk of getting Alzheimers. My father just recently died for a large part due to Alzheimers-related causes, and my mother-in-law also has Alzheimer's. SO I joke with my wife about the time when I can't remember what she forgot.

So back from my big test. I had to draw the face of a clock and mark in the big hand and the little hand to indicate 11:10. i then had to write 11:10 in a box at the bottom of the page. My doctor was pleased and told me there were no signs of Dementia. I feel so insulted by this whole process!!! :rollno:

It's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood. The sun is shining and my lady is out and about in her red high heels!! <sigh> Ain't life grand?? :D

That test doesn't seem to be fair for dyslexics and those that only know how to tell digital time. People can fail the most simple tests when they are stressed. Then they wet themselves and fail the smell test.

Glad that the sillyness is over.

I bet there's more kids than old folks nowdays who'd fail a test Involving a real clock.
