Gnomeratron VTF Club

so i'm replacement #5. finally got to sit down with it for a good while this morning and make a lot of noise. i'm still figuring out how to balance the overall volume, but so far i'm absolutely enamored with this thing. i made marks with a silver sharpie on the notches of the trimpots to help me see the settings better.

Who here bought the extra diodes with their VTF? Have any of you started to pull out one set and put in the other ones? I haven`t gotten around to doing it yet but I`m curious as to what kind of sounds and naughty pleasure they`re giving to the Gnome army.

I thought I had broken my Gnome at some point bringing it back and forth to practice and my house. I wasn`t getting any effect from it,only a cleanish tone with a high pitch faint noise mixed in. So I contacted Dan about the problem and sent it back to get fixed.
I wanted to mention this because Dan was a superb dude the whole way through. He was always fast, friendly and helpful every time I emailed him. It turns out that other than a loose wire there was nothing wrong with my Gnome,it worked fine for him! So he fixed the one wire and sent it back. He even offered to repay my shipping cost! But I told him not to seeing as how I felt kind of embarrassed that I wasted his time with a non-problem.
I`m happy that I bought my pedal from him. He makes awesome products and his services beyond that are top notch too. He always had time to answer a question and was always friendly doing it. I just wanted to share this with all my fellow Gnome owners.

I just got around to taking pics of my gnome i received the week before x-mas. Its been fun trying to unlock all the mysteries of the gnome. :bassist:
