Great showmanship throughout Cliff.

Here's a memory from a few years ago in our acoustic frame of mind. Not the big time set up as Cliff's above but it was a fun place to play on a nice Saturday afternoon. I think @nixdad was in attendance at this one.

Very cool, looks like fun and sounds really good.

Here was a photo and story I shared last Thursday, it was a strange but fun evening. Very reminiscent of that moment in Spinal Tap where they complained that "puppet show" should be on the bill after "Spinal Tap"

Hello friends,

I shared a couple of my gig memory videos on the Friendface and I'd like to share the posts here if you don't mind.

Here's the first of my two "official" daily gig memory videos. The second one will be along shortly. This is a little compilation featuring yours truly along with The Kelly Rae Band, my friends Kelly Rae, Art Holland, Daniel Blank, Mario Montes, and our dear departed friend Jeff Linder.



Number two for today: This is a special memory for me. Not only was this Amanda Kate's CD release party but her mom and songwriting partner, Kathy, joined us on stage for a couple of tunes. I remember standing at the back of the stage with tears in my eyes listening to this mother/daughter team pour their hearts out in front of the audience. It was magical. After a hard-fought battle with brain cancer Kathy recently preceded us to heaven and I will always be grateful and proud that I was able to perform with her. She was such a special lady. I still get emotional listening to this video. It really means a lot.

Thanks Chris. It was a super cool outdoor patio venue. In looking for photos of it I found our other friend Chris (@nixdad) was there as I suspected.

Nice mix of tunes. I like the side-stage angle. Daniel's fiddle seems more up in the stage mix as opposed to the FOH. Or is the audio off the bord?

Nice mix of tunes. I like the side-stage angle. Daniel's fiddle seems more up in the stage mix as opposed to the FOH. Or is the audio off the bord?

Those clips were done with various cameras right there on stage, just recording the stage wash. That was back when we used real floor monitors and amps on stage at The Ranch. The recording of Amanda and her Mom was done by a fan with a cell phone. I'll have a couple more video gig memories tomorrow. Everyone, please feel free to share yours too.

It was so bizarre to say the least, it was difficult at times to sing and not just keep laughing at the silliness of it all.

Here's a clip from Bayfield 2017, another rainy night so we were in the rain location. This was during the brief time I had my Hofner. It was an ok bass overall but I never really fell in love with it enough to keep it. Boy I hit a couple flat notes on "I Feel Fine"

Great promo vid, nice work. I love a band that can pull off three part harmonies.

Thanks Cliff, it was a really fun band. Now that singer/cajon player is gone, quit for the 4th time and we were tired of talking him back off the ledge. We only got two practices in with his replacement before the world closed down, so frustrating.

Very cool video, great sound balance in a space where a drummer could ruin the volume pretty easily.

Here's our performance of "With A Little Help From My Friends." This is 1 of about 15 videos that have not yet been made public. This was shot last year while recording our CD. This is also one of the tunes where the bass stands out a bit more. Such a blast playing Paul McCartney's bass lines.
