so my buddy (nun-musician) called me up to see what I'm doing tonight and I told him "not much just gonna be SLAPPIN' DA BASS" but he took that to mean having sexual relations with a bass???? so that got me thinking, is slappin' da bass a misleading term?

well, if you actually stated "SLAPPIN' DA BASS", you deserve all the ridicule you receive.
