Started april last year, don't plan on stopping - finally found the instrument I was born to play!

picked up the guitar at 10 and the bass at 15 (to much competition as guitarist in my town, not enough bassists) been playing pretty steady all my life with (some) time off for marriage... (37 to 47) now I'm 54 and I will continue to perform for as long as I can... It is the most enjoyable activity I have.

Anyways, I started out playing guitar in September, a month after my 14th birthday. Bought a bass last June and haven't looked back. So... just now, a little over a year. I turn 16 in August.

I started guitar in 1954. Sure wish I still had that Sears Silvertone that I got for Christmas. About 10 years ago, the group I was in decided that I needed to be their new Bass guy. So that's.... 57 years. Yikes!
