Six on my pedalboard, plus a few in a box in the garage.

Bass->EBS Wah->Darkglass Microtubes->EBS Metaldrive->Morley Volume->Boss Digital Delay->Boss Analog flanger.

I have seen the “How many guitars do you have thread.” Looking at all of the small, large, crazy pedal boards and the funny sounds threads.

There appear to be more “types” of some pedals than others. But, I have also really enjoyed seeing the different brands and their take on sounds.

Just wondering, do you have to catch them all or did you buy a pedal for a specific sound even though you had a very similar one?

Just trying to keep it interesting.

I have an Eden WTDI a DI. It comes with treble, bass and mid controls, a bass boost and mid shift buttons, none of which I use, an Enhance knob, also not used, and a compression knob which is used. I use this when using IEM, or crappy back line amps.

That is the only pedal I need.

Probably a 100 or more, been collecting a while. Fifty years in fact since 1969. Love those noise boxes plus between gigging I also worked in music stores and a few bargains do come my way. My first pedal was a thrown away Thomas Organ Wah Wah pedal that I took to a TV repair shop and had it repaired. The sprocket but had loosened on the shaft. My next two pedals were a EHX Muff and Maestro Phaser. Carried it all around in a snare drum case.
I learned early to buy used, most things can be fixed, take care of your goodies and always do an idiot check, always.

When I converted an ESP LTD F Junior guitar into a sub scale bass because it had a "metal" look, I bought a Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz if I ever had an occasion to go there, I never have and haven't even opened the box (do I even look "metal"). I was also given a Boss AB-2 by a member of my uke group and again never had a need to use it. So I voted 2, but I also think there should a 0 choice because even though I own 2, I don't ever use any. (But I do like the bass a lot.)
