FWIW, I never considered this pedal much, but smaller with side jacks has it on my list now.

I ordered one... then noticed the side jacks.
Oh well, given the fair price and the great samples & reviews I'll still give it a go !

If he comes out with this small enclosure but top jacks, I'll get a new one. Not getting rid of my glowing eyes version however

I just sold my second one...but I'd buy another if it was setup like that
...and yeah, I'll never get rid of my glowing eyes version, there will ALWAYS be room for that. 
Yeah I don't get the obsession with top jacks. Seems like just another thing for people to be snobby about.
Mostly tight board satisfies OCD and allows another pedal to be wedged in.
Oh I'm positive OCD is a variable. But it would seem bigger enclosures would be more of an issue then jack location.
I prefer my Joyo OCD clone, thank you!
Side jacks = wasted space that could be used by another pedal. Looks neater, too.
Ditto for large enclosures. I'd rather have a small pedal with side jacks then a huge pedal with top jacks. But what do I know, I'm not in any clubs and don't have a post a minute.

I guess your pedalboard isn't quite filled up yet.
Top jacks has nothing to do with snobbery but everything to do with saving space that can be used for another pedal on your board.
