On most days it is quite fine, only on the days the dude inside is load it is more disturbing.
Anyway, I'm in a good company.... many celebrities have it. Phil Collins, Sting, The Edge, Eric Clapton, Steve Martin, Sylvester Stallone..... and probably more then 10 persons in TB!!

Mine is a nasty distortion. When I raise my voice or if someone in the room talks loudly, it distorts. It has improved a bit since the incident but its definitely still damaged. There's also a constant ringing.
It was a simple LOUD pop that caused it and I've been suffering since.
I do like loud music but I've gotten used to keeping the volume under control. That's why I get so bent out of shape when my guitarist cranks up, because then I have to crank up just to hear myself.
If I could trust that I wouldn't be deafened by a blast of feedback from one of my bandmates, I'd use my IEM setup. But until I get a limiter on EVERY channel, I'll stick to wedges.

Well, then the iRig was a perfect tool to mask your slight ringing as the constant hiss outside blends well with the hiss inside!
The iRig have some hiss which is actually in stereo and tend to be louder on the left channel/ ear!!
I understand that the new Garageband update now supports Audiobus. And to celebrate, Audiobus has put themselves on discount/sale. If this is old news, apologize.
Garageband is super easy, its just not a full-funtion DAW. I'm just learning this stuff, so there are others that will likely to chime in.
But now you can build your parts in GB and then via Audiobus connect to Multitrack DAW to finish things.
First experience with all this tonight. I am experiencing the crackling noise on Jamup, and remember folks on here saying how to get rid of it. But managed to get into GarageBand to lay down a beat track and basic recording. Recording levels were all wrong, of course, but at least I can see a path forward. Fun hour or so playing with the new toys.

Making some more progress tonight. Running Jamup alone in airplane mode, fine tone with no crackle. But add audiobus and GarageBand, crackle comes right back. Would appreciate any other pointers.
soooo...... i don't use my pad as a bass amp, i still prefer a preamp pedal into a power amp, so it didna seem appropriate for that other 'pad thread. but here's what i run for my synthy keys setup. it's really neat having a few pedals on there to make the 'pad more gritty and wobbled -
and here's me noodling around with some beats and keys thingers -
i'm REALLY impressed with how solid the 'pad runs. i always make sure nothing is launched but the 2 or 3 apps i want to use to make noises and turn it to airplane mode. but it's surprised me tons.
