Jaco's '63 Jazz Bass for sell???

Yea, that's where I got the name from haha.

you know I actually got to talk to him briefly in '96 at The Strand in Providence, prior to a gig w/ Buddy Guy and he said that he still owned that bass... then, he had to hop on stage and I couldn't catch up with him later that night. (*kinda hooked up with a chick and got distracted*)

Seriously, no. I'm just some dummy metalhead that likes Jaco.:)

I wouldnt say you are a dummy. I don't know much about him but would like to learn more. I simply made a mistake with what little I knew here thats all. I did own up to that. I think anyone and everyone regardless of how long they have played or what their skill level is should have a chance to learn about him. ^_^

Hey folks, I would like to apologize. Looking back at this thread, my comments were immature and inconsiderate. I'm sincerely sorry if I have offended any of you. Peace.

Apology accepted and I want to apologize too for my remark to you as well. It wasn't called for.
:)

Total fraud. The Bass of doom was fretless and now has a figured maple top put on by Jaco's luthier after Jaco got pissed and broke it into pieces.

Oh the bass for sale we are talking about isn't the Bass of Doom but one of Jacos other basses. I thought Jaco only had that one bass too but I was corrected. If this bass is for real its one of Jacos other basses.

umm... did I not say Greg Rzab earlier? He got that bass, w/ no case and a pair of Jaco's Chuck T's (smelly and quite used).

I almost exclusively wear Chuck T's, I'd love to won Jaco's old and well used Chucks. And that's far before the Nike buy out so they last even longer. I bet I could get some use out of em!
