NOYCE!

that would make an AWESOME LOG poster :ninja:

Hey just posting a picture of a dude i drew playing a Lakland 44-60. (I love mine so much!)

He has such sweet Lakies I wish he could play...... :D*

*JK of course! he rocks out well! love the sound he gets in that song...one of these days I will learn to pick.....love the sound, hate the lack of sense of touch and orientation though with a pick...

Some Ben and his Laklands...and walkabouts...what a great combo! ;-)

STOP posting that picture! :D

is that a Lakie? i did not notice....

Pfff, I had a gig with NONA yesterday and I exclusively used my Lakland 55-60 for the first time. Man, was I happy! My vintage Fender sounds great for many purposes, but for the big rock sound we need with NONA, the Lakland is absolutely perfect! I think I've found my new main bass for that band...

Not from that gig, but cool nonetheless:

BTW - did you guys make all of the cardboard instruments etc in the video? cool....did you save them?

After seeing that picture I went and bought that same bass. But it did not come with that case candy. :(

Very cool! Julie is one slick (sorry :D) player. She's a member of TB last I checked as well.
I don't know if I'd ever get a Bass VI kind of configuration, but they are undeniably cool if ya ask me.

She, with Adrian Belew's power trio, just played Iridium in nyc double billed with Tony Levin's Stick Men. If I hadn't been getting ready to lounge in Hilton Head for a week...that's several generations of bass awesomeness.

Singer hotness aside, that's a pretty good photo. I love it.

see.....I am not the only one "complaining"

we need MORE like that.....

Agreed.

Yeah...I want one to play some Cure songs. Fascination Street anyone?
The cure formed the sountrack of my life back in the 80s and early 90s. There are *many* Cure songs I'd love to work into giggage, but they'd probably sound kinda hokey coming from a Celt-pop trio like mine.
Nonetheless, we've been trying to figure out a cool way to do Just Like Heaven.

Can I get a number please? This precious baby just came home today.

I have one of that bass's 5-string sisters.

Mine's one of the newer Indo ones. The Korean ones were rarer because the first Amers were a limited run.
