The J neck on the DPLE is feeling ok so far, although I've only had about 2 hours with it. It seems much closer spec-wise to my Musicman Sterlings than my Fender Geddy Lee. The GL is wonderfully fast, yes, but sort of too thin and flat. (I barely play the Geddy Lee, in part because it happens to live in my office at work. Coincidentally, it's not often accounted for in my wife's mental inventory of basses.

Curious to dig a little deeper on the Lakland J vs DJ neck profiles. Is the DJ thinner/flatter or thicker/fatter? Anybody have experience with both the DJ4 and JO4/44-60 care to comment?
