My new baby! Lakland Skyline 55-01 with Nordstrand Big Singles and an Audere Classic 4 band pre. Oh My Goodness! ImageUploadedByTalkBass1371262928.407088.jpg

But are you both measuring the same way? Inner to outer, mid to mid, etc.

I'm measuring mid to mid. And here's something else. Measured all the spacings on three different US basses recently as I thought that US Laklands were 19mm, but checked the site to see that they were listed as 20mm. So I measured each bass at the bridge across the saddles and all three measured: 20mm E-A, 18.5mm A-D and 19.5mm D-G.

I even checked to make sure that all the saddles were aligned and the measurements were still the same, they are consistently inconsistent.

Well, on one hand that's not encouraging to hear. On the other hand, it shows just how much my concern with string spacing my all be above my elbows:p

Are the dimensions from the edge of each saddle to each notch the same? If so what about the saddle screw bore?
