I am expecting that the 4015lf and the 8m100 mid together will sound like what guys on here would call the sealed fearful cab. Tighter, punchier, more bass cab like. Im betting that a dual 15 version would require a second mid and that would put the cab in 130lb range. A bit too heavey for me I think.
Less than an 810 but heavy none the less. Probably end up somewhere between your 610 and 810. I am also interested in how you like the 8m100 compared to the w6n8-120 which is the mid that I wanted to match with the 4015. I was looking at a pair of 50ish lbs cabs.
That mid just looks like it will have a good sounding character and has good sensitivity. I've wanted to try it for a long time. It's one of the only few that I have wanted to check out.

What about the faital pro W6N8-120, which reaches to 10k ...
6er's not working for you?
I like that one but, not sensitive enough and I really don't like to go any higher than 5khz because it starts to add a "fizz" sound to overdrive. 8" mids, for the most part, seem to sit just right in between the roundness of a 10 and brightness of a 6.
For anyone who is interested, I just placed an order for an eminence 4015lf woofer and a beyma 8M100 mid driver. I'll be loading them in my 158 cab and fully crossing them over. This is for an experiment to see if a large 2x15/8 could be a replacement for my modded nv610. I just had to know how the 4015lf monster would perform Im always trying out different mids.

Ruffly. But, the faital is scooped out more in the upper mids so, it sound quieter but smoother. That was probably the best mid that I have heard for bass but, you need two of them to match one averagely sensitive woofer. For me anyway. I like a bright paper cone sound.
The 3015LF Kappalite has a nasty 5 dB hump around 1200 Hz and you don't crossover any higher than 800 Hz (1/2 octave down) in order to keep that peak out of the crossover region. The 4015LF Definimax has a similar hump at 900 Hz so I'd think you'd want to lower the crossover point to 600 hz so that peak would be attenuated. I'd be tempted to try this with the Beyma 8G40. It's a little more even but that's what the treble knob is for. You'd have a compact but heavy 8 ohm ceramic sealed 15/8 that you could pound with some serious wattage. I bet that would sound nice.
The only 6.5" mid that I'd really like to try is the FAITAL PRO 6PR150. Nice looking character with less scoop up top, but just enough around 2khz to get rid of some clack. If I was going to ever own a 151566, it would be with those mids I think.
Diidn't I read a post from Bill F. that suggested staying away from crossing in between the 5 to 8 region, due to the ears particular sensitivity there ... ?
I expect that loading the 4015lf in with the mod8 the sound should be the same only a bigger more solid low end that will obviously take more power. The 8m100 mids would up the power handling and change the character of the cab. As far as a cab load with a pair of 4015lf's, you never know if one good mid will be enough. It seems like the mod would have enough because with one woofer I never have it up more than halfway. The 8m100 is even more efficient. It's hard to say. That faital 6" is fairly flat at around 100db which in theory would mate well with a pair of woofers. Im pretty excited to experiment. Oh, I fully crossed over my current cab at 800hz and it still has the same character, though not as much growl. At a gig I probably wouldn't notice. I actually am starting to like it's overall sound better than my modded nv610. Then again, thats at home. Rock gigs require more of an aggressive sound.
