Lets Buy A Wish Part II

I am at work so I have to post quick.

Wish mentioned that the body was Ash with a spalted maple front - as we have seen - and a Ipe fret board.

The carolina ash is also called swamp ash.

Fraxinus caroliniana: Carolina ash, Florida ash, pop ash, swamp ash, water ash.

Ash is my favorite sounding bodies - especially the Fraxinus caroliniana. However there are other species of Ash that are used in guitar making, and I am not positive Wish used Carolina Ash. I'll ask him when I see him to get the bass tomorrow.

Hey Dallas gang,
Would you mind a Houston guy personally delivering the bass to an airport near you? And maybe joining up with your GTG? I could fly into almost any airport except DFW or Love Field. There's a gazillion general aviation airports up there, I'd need a ride to/from the airport to attend, but I have no problem with y'all just doing the "grab'n'go".

The Northeast:
LajoieT
Fret-less Six
tplyons
Werbo1

The West:
pierce
Juneau
freakbass
bassic83
embellisher

The Southeast:
BassDmb18
jammadave
coffee-sipper
vcat
sb69coupe

Midwest:
Lbanks
Trevorus
superbassman2000

I will correct everyones contact information and send out another email when I return to town. Mostly the mistakes where when the paypal account name was under someone elses first name- I'll get on it.

Or, if you fly into Red Bird (Executive) airport, I can pick you up as well.

In short -
The bass plays absolutely fantastic - it looks totally wild - sounds amazing.

This is exactly what I've been trying to tell everyone!

Here's some shots of mine (as presented on ebay).

Ain't she pretty? (I'm cleaning up the finish, changed the bridge to chrome independent saddles (held in place by string tension), am adding a tone control, and putting on chrome dome knobs. When I'm done, I'll post some pics)

Enjoy playing the wish and YES YES,,, get another one,,, GET TWO, in fact!

I'd like to see this idea spread around a bit. I'd love to drop $10 + shipping for:

Let's buy a Fodera...

Let's buy a Ritter...

Let's buy a Benevente...

Let's buy a Ken Smith...

Let's buy a Sadowsky...

Let's buy a Dingwall...

Let's buy a custom Conklin Double Neck 7 string with a cool melted top...

The possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!!

(we may need more that 20 people at $10 a head for *SOME* of those tho...)
