Markbass blue cabinets

-- and I thought that they could not make them more ugly ! I was wrong ! (personal opinion - no hate towards Markbass users !
The Markbass website states that these blue cabs were launched alongside its blue bass guitars. I think you must all be out of touch with current aesthetic trends, as the website also says :-

It is.I always thought that Italian design was something to be proud of.
Piaggio Avanti Duo turboprop. One more entry in the 'Only Italians Can Do This' file.
Armani, ItalDesign and Giorgetto Giugaro, Pinninfarina, Bertone, Versace, Bialetti, Alfa Romeo, Vespa, MV Augusta, Ducati, Perazzi, Franchi, Beretta . . . . . and MarkBass.

That is one awesome aircraft for sure. The Italians got it right with that one. But then they have done pretty well for themselves when it comes to various modes of transportation. From cars, to planes, to yachts, etc...

Add McLaren and pretty much any marque who has had an association with Gulf over the years.
I don't know if I can ever forgive Giugaro for designing the Eagle Premiere. A luxury car held together by dreams and expanding foam filler.
I'm looking at this from a power tool perspective.

God knows the last days of AMC were pretty unfortunate, but in its own way, that AWD Eagle was the precursor to so many AWD automobiles that have been common today, just as the 70's Grand Cherokees were among the first AWD luxury SUV's on this side of the Atlantic, an American Range Rover.
But oh yes I can remember a lot of GG/ID designs I liked way better. But way up the list for me were the OG Maserati Ghibli and Indy.

Maserati Indy, the Ghibli as a full four seat GT, 4.7 V8. You can spot the 'stretch' for some back seat room, spot the distance between the bottom corner of the door to the leading edge of the rear wheel cutout vs. the Ghibli above. And the longer back side window is the instant ID for Indy, not Ghibli.
These were before the Citroen merger which brought the Bora, Merak, and the second gen Quattroporte, and were contemporaries of the Miura and Daytona, and to me, the favorite of those three, though the least remembered of them. Some of my favorite wheels with the real lug nuts behind the center cap.

Unique for sure, and why not? I wouldn’t own one , but I certainly don’t find this offensive/
Blue and orange are traditional complementary colors. Blue and yellow are complementary colors in the RGB spectrum.
So they look just fine to me.
Man I thought my Fender Rumble 410 was relatively lightweight at 62 lbs. These Markbass 410's are half that! I don't care what color they are if they are that portable. I do like the blue though.
i think blue tolex smooths out the upper mids. Or at least that is what the internet tone-wood mafia insists.
i like the my 105hlf (sound and look). I am actually getting it redone in a white hiwatt style to match an amp i had done custom.
