Meris Enzo Synth Pedal

Okay we're getting closer BUT something is very wrong. I switched DevA to GMID, InCH to 16 and put the DIPs to ON-ON-ON and now the editor is recognizing knob changes but there's some sort if signal coming from the Micro which is triggering the Enzo... when powered on via either USB or a solo 9v source the Micro's left light turns red and it overloads the Enzo. If I start moving through the preset switches on the Micro is flashes and resets itself to 00.

Whaaat is going on here?

Yes, set to MIDI3 and it is programmed for 16 presets. By overload I mean the Enzo will be functioning normally, then when the Micro is turned on it becomes super distorted and crunchy, the LEDs for the POLY and MONO start blinking rapidly and if connected to the editor the knobs show change but flicker back and forth as if you're constantly turning it. This continues to happen even if the Micro is turned off, and cycling power on the Enzo restores the normal functionality.

Okay, they helped sort it out - the Thru setting was on SP by default and making it OFF stopped the interference issue.

So now I need to figure out saving presets to the Micro - I was just messing with it connected to both my laptop and the Enzo, dialed in a sound on the editor program and held the left toggle on the Micro to save it... except that saved the knob positions on the Enzo itself. Do I need to send the editor's current values to the Enzo, then use the toggle to save on the Micro?

Again, thanks for everyone's help in this learning process. I really appreciate it.

EDIT - Seems like that did it. Next issue - when I scroll through the presets on the Micro it seems like I'm only getting some of the settings with it. Like, if I'm connected to the editor and load one of the presets I can get these huge sounds but scrolling brings up comparatively anemic tones.

DOUBLE EDIT - Emailed them back, I'm also wondering if I need to do a factory reset on the Enzo. It was purchased used an the previous owner could have edited the factory presets, which would explain the presets the Micro pulls from the Enzo being different from the stock ones in the editor. Seems like a possible simple solution?

@aguacateojos Sounds like you have the editor working with the Micro.

To save a sound from the editor into one of the Enzo's 16 preset slots, save the settings into the librarian, by pressing the 'save to Enzo and lib' on the menu bar. You can write the patch to a preset from the dialog, or go into the librarian and drag a patch onto a preset button. This will write the sound to the Enzo.

The micro does not store sounds for the Enzo. It can only switch between the 16 presets already stored on the Enzo.

Already set to Out per the instructions from DAD. I'm moving today and have a travel gig tomorrow so I won't be able to mess around again until Monday... out of curiosity, anybody had success finding a patch similar to the synth on the Ginuwine tune Pony? That'll be one of my first goals. Might not be possible but I'll try!

That sounds like a twin peak filter for the "yeah" type sound. The only filter I've come across that can do that is the SA manta.

You can probably get pretty close using mono mode, with

You can likely get close using mono mode, with the ring mod on. The catch is that you will need to turn off the autofilter, and sweep the filter on it's own with an expression pedal. The ring mod frequency is connected to the filter sweep in the Enzo. One implementation option I would change for sure is to be able to turn off the mod source for the ring mod, and still have a filter sweep.

I've not got any authentic vocal sounds out of the FI. can you point me in the right direction?

Use the freq 2nd slider in the editor. Raise it above zero to switch it on. It is tuned in semitone offsets corresponding to the number (1-24). It’ll be more interesting with v3 as you’ll be able to have different sources controlling the two filters. I’ve made a patch that has ADSR envelope to the normal filter and envelope follower controlling the offset value.

Thanks.
Sorry for the thread hijacking people.
Carry on.

Ok so i have the Enzo hooked up to my computer and the editor through a Chase bliss midi box. I can create in the editor and save to the pedal no problem, but is the editor supposed to respond to changes made on the pedal itself?

or do you have to save the preset to the pedal, then re-read the pedal program from the editor?

edit: i'm using the online editor, not the "Enzo Editor and Librarian" as i cant get it to connect. it just hangs up and crashes :(

thanks
