I am not a compressor user, but the graphic eq might be nice...
+1

That's the ONE feature I might find useful. I definitely don't need any more power, and I can't remember the last time I used a compressor, BUT, while I generally don't need much EQ on this head, a GEQ might be nice in some venues.

My personal vote is still
M9 power, Walkabout preamp with the semi para section + shelving top and bottom, passive mids, and then add the M6 voicing control and top end sheen.

I have been suggesting something along these lines, but in a 2-channel head, with one channel being the Walkabout pre (to a tee) and the other being the M6. Switching between those two tones, you could cover a lot of ground.

Lotta knobs, not much real estate. I'd be curious to see how that would lay out.
Cool though.

It's not as bad as you might think. Look at the M9. If you take out the graphic, and use similar-sized knobs, you could fit the Walkabout pre across the top.

That being said, you could probably get much better internal cooling (thermal capacity) in a 3U setup.

Count me in. Picked up this rig this past week for a killer deal and am loving it! May add a second 115 or look for a larger Mesa cab but either way, I think I am finally going to get into this brand in a big way!
