MLB 2018

12 games over and doing a little dance with the Astros is an OK place to be at the beginning of June. If we get to the All-Star break and the Mariners keep up the smoke and mirrors, I might actually start to believe this is their year. Aw, who am I fooling - this is the year they win it all! It's always that year until it isn't. This seems a bit different. Felix is mediocre so far. He will figure it out and get it going. The DL has been overpopulated. But, even so, the Mariners are buyers, not sellers for a change. I just hope they don't wipe out the farm like they have in the past.

The Cubs managed to strike out TWENTY FOUR TIMES in the first 13 innings last night, stranding 17 baserunners. Yet the pitching staff kept it a 1-1 tie (well, they were facing the Mets) until the Cubs exploded with 6 runs in the 14th for the win. Crazy game.

Hey, Man!
We could be like twinsies!

It took the Braves 14 innings to lose to the Natinals yesterday.
We were in the air the whole time, so there was no gnashing of teeth or rending of garments...

It’s really good to be back in Braves’ Country!
...slept in our own bed...slept Late...put the bacon on low, low...’Essential Billy Joel’ on low, Low at the bedside...gotta vacuum this joint before the Braves game at 1:30...

‘Sgood to be home...

Yeah, I saw it... :vomit:

I might want to silently slit my wrists in August, but I’m going to enjoy this ride as far as it will take me!

Tyler Flowers goes on the DL on Opening Day, and Kurt Suzuki takes over like The Boss!

Nick Markakis, coming off his first sub.300 season in 5 years, is hitting .330something!

Acuna will be back when he gets back...no sooner.

Young Ozzie shouldaoughtabin the NL player of the month, but I wasn’t invite to that meeting.

I might have to take a mid-day nap while they’re out West.
I don’t wanna miss a pitch!

The Cubs have won 7 of their last 8 and are now 2 games in back of Milwaukee. But they have a tough stretch coming up—hosting the Phillies (Arrieta not pitching during this series, however) and Pirates, then going to Milwaukee and St. Louis. I’m curious to see if they’re up to this challenge.
