Agreed. But ebay also charges about 10% in fees too, so things are usually more expensive. There's that one with the faux neckthru and the lacewood top- has been on there awhile.

So it is looking like my new guitar is about a 1986 Modulus Flight model. Number is unknown. Geoff talked about 4SP as the bass, so I am wondering if it would be something similar.

I ended up paying 2400 for my vj4 on tb. But it did have about $800-900 worth of upgrades.

Guys- my modulus Q-5 recently sustained slight damage to my A string tuning key- its still functioning- (it just seems very tight just to tune it to pitch) Where could I find a similar replacement tuning key? It's black btw- Thanks for any info!

I think they are Modulus marked Gotoh tuners.. I am sure most any black tuner would work. I know original Modulus tuners show up on Ebay every once in a while

There's actually some bassstar tuners on eBay right now. I imagine they would work but I am not a tuner expert.
