Ok so i opened up the m92 and noticed a couple dip switches on the preamp (most likely a basic emg BTS)

Who has the skinny on dip switch settings? I think this m92 is incredibly bright... Almost too bright, even with the treble rolled all the way back

The DIP switches change the frequency center of the treble control.

Both on = 2.1KHz
1 on, 2 off = 3.5KHz
1 off, 2 on = 4.5KHz
both off = 7.0KHz

These values are for the older style EMG EQ systems that used solder connections. The newer systems that have "quick connect" style plugs are a little different; EMG has the specs for those on their web site. I assume your M92 is old enough to be the older solder style system.

Hey there mob members. I just purchased a 95 Q5, it has the older bridge on there. Anybody recommend a really nice replacement. i am actually going with all black hardware. So knob and tuner advice would be great as well. Here is a pic:
are you looking for fixed or fully-adjustable saddles?

for fixed saddles, i'd suggest a hipshot b-style bridge (.669) which is 17mm (modulus spacing). that's what i use on most of my gould's and modulii.

for fully adjustable saddles, i'd suggest either a hipshot a-style bridge (.669) or an abm bridge. i have a gold abm en route to swap out my black abm.

you also have a choice of material between aluminum and brass.

installing them is a whole 'nother post/rant!

in regards to tuners, i prefer hipshot ultralites (seriously, not a paid endorser! 8p) but am digging on gotoh res-o-lite's also.

knobs are a plenty here in the 'accessories' page or on evilbay.

good luck!

All parts maybe? That's where I got my stacked knobs for my 2004 Sienna Q5. Good call on the black hardware choice; I think most basses look best with black hardware, but I am biased. Good luck.
