That's actually good to know that any bass can sound wise fit in any setting. Armed with that knowledge I'm ready to join the local Rush tribute band. I think I'll take my 6 string Fender Guitarron bass, should fit right in the mix...

So how about it TBers - name the genre or venue and post a pic of a totally inappropriate bass for that setting. It might be based on looks or shape or graphics or sound or whatever - be creative!

That is way creepier and disturbing than anything genitalia-shaped bass.
Would be even better if the mouth was animated so it would "sing" along as you played it. Go on youtube and look up "Tara singing android" for a dose of that kind of creepy...
