Most inappropriate bass...

You finally found a bass (well guitar I guess....) that is appropriate for a biker bar!
Maybe early in the performance but around closing when plenty of beer has been consumed it would probably start a bar fight. I can hear it now, totally sloshed biker whips out a chain and starts swingin for the stage shouting "you playin my girl, let her go or you die!"

This, either in church or a jazz band.

Though it is fretless...
Adventure Time!!! I mean.... I don't get it

Just tell them it's the blood of Christ.
Already mentioned a few pages back, here's my response...

What if it's the blood of Christ?

That might be a stretch considering the Blood Splatter bass is an artist bass built by Spector for Alex Webster who is the bass player for the Death Metal band Cannibal Corpse. You can look up Cannibal Corpse songs on Wiki - they're not exactly family friendly and I doubt many places of worship would be featuring their music or anything to do with them.

All that said, I think its a really cool looking bass and I've considered buying one on several occasions, just not sure where I can play it without offending someone. My bass playing is offensive enough, the last thing I need to do is top it off with a controversial bass. ;)

I seriously underestimated the controversy my first post is causing, there was no intentional link to a specific religion or religious figure. If this keeps up I'll edit my original post with a less controversial example. But your point is well taken be it in jest or sincerity.

Now jump in the mix and post a pic of a bass you think would be a lousy fit for a wedding reception!

What makes it weird for me isn't the cosplay, since I do a number of conventions every year. What is weird is that it looks an awful lot like a cosplayer friend of mine who moved down to Texas many years ago.

Sooooo @mapleglo, is this you or someone you know? If not, did you just happen across it on the web? :eyebrow:

Hey its a friggin bass ,its not pornography geeez if that offends then the site should not be for adults just saying

Don't get me wrong. I have little problem with dirty jokes and the like, but we've already been warned because of a previous posting that was <ahem> less than subtle in it's suggestiveness. I don't want to see this incredibly fun thread get locked by the mods, that's all.

It's also worth mentioning that this site is not just for adults. There are, to the best of my knowledge, no age restrictions.
