Most inappropriate bass...

I can't imagine Robert Trujillio with his typical bass stage stance...

Playing one of these...

...Kala Ukelele sized UBass.

Thanks for keeping it on track Perry!

Ok everyone, keep it light hearted, have fun with the topic and post those appropriate pics of basses that would just be out of place or inappropriate for a given setting.

And in a preemptive move (because I know there's less appropriate pictures of this bass floating around) how about the epic, the one, the only (drum roll please)...
Mothman bass in a Lawrence Welk orchestra
MOTHMAN.jpg
Somehow, the Mothman is inappropriate in any setting, especially when you consider it's evil mind-bending powers. Why it's....Oh, no!.....It's got me.....Resistance is futile......it's worse than the Hypno-Toad.....All Hail Mothman! All Hail the Oversized God of Oversized and Over the Top Basses!.....Praise him!......HELLLP! :D

Well, you can bring most any bass to any gig.
What would be inappropriate to me would be to bring an expensive boutique bass guitar but not have the chops to play simple bass lines.

Yep!
That would also qualify you for the crappy bassists with expensive gear club - of which I'm a proud member!
Nice Fodera by the way.
