Man iam kinda funny about the whole thing because i also teach bass at the colledge and had a couple kids come in with there cd and want to learn one of there songs! Hehe So i learned a couple of them to show them why they couldnt yet! After watching me play them they said f#ck that sh%t! Iam not crazy about that kind of music but he is a good player! I lost my bass player mag but i read the article about hem who was hes fav bass players? I know it was strange because non of them were in heavy bands! I might be wrong but seems to me he liked really good old bands? Am i correct? Anyone still have the new issue? Id like to get hem to settle down a little and listen to him play some good old funk! Maybe hook him up with carter from dave mathews band! Yeah!

The guy has a lot of skill, that's an objective observation. If you like or do not like how he plays, that's a subjective opinion. I'm a bit tired of people slamming these guys for the style they play in response to someone saying they play well. (I have a suspicion the most vehement nay-sayers are jealous of the skills, so I guess I should relax anyway). Ryknow is an inspiration for any bassist who wants to be in the front and play heavy music. If you don't like it, don't listen to it. I choose to listen.

Sweet you're a member now Internal Primate! anyways, I am glad to see many of my bros on this site givin props to Ryknow for his skill.

I hope Mudvayne is successful but I am weary because I have noticed their coverage on Mtv2 growing. I am sooo damn afraid that they will get put on that damn TRL show and suddenly a bunch of little teeny bastards I mean boppers will get into them because of the sole reason that they are on TRL or some little bitch calls up and says "hey i request Dig because Gurg is sooo cute". or something of that nature. ya dig? no one else will understand why Ryknow is great, they will all like them merely because it would be a new non-fad which in itself has become a fad (evryone wants out of the fad so they go and fake getting into a certain band and since they all do it, it becomes a fad itself).

Sorry I am freaking out but I love this band and I dont want another LB sellout thing goin on with another band i love. But i guess we'll just have to wait, see, and cross our fingers! Mudvayne rocks!

Its funny how alot of people love a band and want them to do great but as soon as they start to make it big every one hates them! So are you saying that if you got signed did a album then mtv wanted to show your stuff you wouldnt do it? That would be kinda like no man we like playing in small bars to much to make millions of dollers! I hate that when people nwill like a band untill its on mtv! That prooves to me that your not liking them as musicians you like them because its cool to like them and as soon as they make it big you wont like them anymore? Kinda whaty happend to dave mathews band a bunch of people really liked them because they said they were great musicians and song writers! Then as soon as they made it on mtv they sucked? I dont get it? Now they are just making more money!

umm.. I dont have any idea what you are talking about. I never said anything at all about not liking them if they get played on Mtv. Damn, you f#cking retards need to read my whole post. I will like Mudvayne no matter what unless they musically begin to suck. Never label me that way again. aww dammit. i hate being angry. thank you very much, you made me hate myself again. argh..

..and fyi.. I still love Limp Bizkit too. I just don't want to go to school in a few weeks and see the prom queen wannabes who listen to Blink 182 in conjunction with Cristina Spears wearing Mud-shirts and showing it off even though they have no idea what Mudvayne is about or how hard it is to really work at music. Or the football pretty boys who only like LB, Korn, Slipknot and other bands in this genre because they have lived pretty, fake lives and want something to be fake angry about.

PS, if I ever got so popular as to get on Mtv, I would probably choose to stay on Mtv2 if I had the choice. One of my worst nightmares is to be broadcast back to back with "shows" like Direct Effect and Undressed. F*ck you.

Just wanted to say a watched a bunch of Mudvayne in concert (thanks Bassline1414), and wow! It was beautiful.

Oh, sorry, the footage was on Mtv2 of "Mudvayne in Concert". Bassline IMed me when it came on, and I ran down to go see it, but i only got to see 4 songs, but that included Death Blooms, which is my favorite song. It was pretty damn cool, Ryknow definitely had energy! Their singer scared the crap out of my grandma, too! He had two goatee-tails down to his feet.

It was a damn awesome concert though, of what I saw. It was recorded pretty well, and Ryknows tone was pretty good as live goes.

Bassline said there are some videos at iMesh, but i have no clue what that is! They might show the concert again sometime on Mtv2.

Dammit! I just got Mtv2 yesterday so I missed it! I hate missing opportunities to see my favorite bands. o well, maybe they'll show it again.

iMesh is like Napster except it has videos, files, music and pistures. It kinda sucks though. Just go to Bad Link Removed i think to download it. later!

Mtv2 actually REALLY sucks. They have like 5 minute long commercials (people talking on a beach) after every video, which are usually rap. If you want a good channel, get Mtv-X! All rock videos, no commercials, only little 30 things every 5-10 videos. Its MUCH better.
