make no mistake, Dimbag was an awsome guitar player. Hell Pantera was on of my fovorite concerts to go to. But it seems like kinda strech to make a dimebag bass.... Wasn't Rex the bassist?

And for $800, I will buy another Geddy Lee and put a Audere preamp in it. Sorry Dean Guitars, bad decision.

The down side of this is I hope that Dimebags family is not needlessly selling off his name for stuff like that. What is next the Dimebag lunch box? Actually I would rather have the luchbox than the bass, even if they were both only $10....

It's the design that matters. It was Dimebag's design. They could make a car in the shape of that bass it would still be the Dimebag car, even though some other guy did the driving for them.
