New DR neon strings

Gah, why doesn't DR make the Neons in a heavy gauge?
I just ordered me a pair of DR DDT's to try out for ADGCF tuning... I absolutely love my DR Neon Greens, but the tension is terrible dropping down a whole step.
I would strongly suggest going to their website and clicking on the Contact Us link. I had an issue with a set of their strings before and they sent me a couple new sets absolutely free.
The issue you had is not a common occurrence. I have them on two basses and I slap and pop pretty much everyday when I'm practicing and haven't had a problem.
Which color would look best with my 3 tone sunburst jazz bass? Wanting to rock these for something different.

I ordered a set for my 4-string Ibby this week. I played for a couple hours and while I can tell a difference in texture, it doesn't make them less comfortable to play. They look totally awesome too. Pictures on their way.
I'm about to go back to Neons once again on my 5er once my rotosounds die.
The green coating is sweet and all, but its actually the tone I get out of these that just say 'THATS ME!' whenever I play them.

Green Neons on my Ibanez blue SR800 is a beautiful thing. I've had the stings for about a month now. The tone is warm. They are great for slaps and pops. They also help produce a nice growl for my Zep and Pink Floyd covers.

Why doesn't DR make the Neons in a lighter gauge?
^^^ Unless they've changed, I would stay way, way away from the Auroras. I picked up a set about three years ago for guitar and bass and they were awful. Deader than flats, no sustain, no punch, and all string rattle.
