I saw that demo today and it better revealed the difference between LED and silicon. Very nice!

THAT is some genuinely effective advertising! Kudos.
Does anyone know if this is like the latest MXR Bass Chorus on which the tone control(s) only affect the effected signal? (I believe that's how it works). If so, brilliant idea to combine that with a Dry/Wet balance. In any case, I wish all pedals were that way.
EDIT: Here we go, per MXR:
"Back in the day, if you wanted to use a distortion pedal and keep your low end intact, you had to split your clean and dirty signals between two amps. With the MXR Bass Distortion, there’s no such need—this pedal puts control over the clean/dirty mix right at your feet with separate Dry and Wet level controls. The Tone control, which only affects the distortion signal, is a simple high cut filter for dialing back the top end, and the Distortion control sets the distortion signal’s intensity. :

Judging from that first demo, it doesn't need a clean blend. That's up my alley as I don't care much for blending unless I have to.
