How ironic. There always has to be some non bass twaddle on here
Well people in the east always have to assert their superiority in some way to the rest of Canada. Sort of like a social network on here, always non subject twaddle when certain types get their panties in knot..Can't be avoided really.

There you go, nice if they reversed P'd it..but maybe with these most excellent pickups not necessary.Found this image on Sire Bass Argentina's FB page:

For someone with a low threshold of patience for 'mumblings' you seem unable to help yourself in making them. Have at it protesting too much, Hoss. One theory is that dawn of North America time, the rugged individualists forged out west for thousands of miles in the wilderness to make a life, and the rest hung back at the forts renting a room. Easier that way..
Only announced, not yet available for purchase. Sounds like they're getting closer though.I don't see the Precision-style models on the Sire website. Does anybody have a link?
ROTFLMAO !! well played!I don't know what type of neck's profile fit women and kids hands but your post makes me think that P necks are well suited for drama queens![]()
I'd like that, too; however, I think for now you're going to have to stick with the likes of Fender, Carvin, and Lakland if you want that configuration.God I hope they make a 5 string version.
The switch is an active/passive so you have both. It also has a tone knob to make it more authentic in passive mode. Think of the active option as a plus and useful if you get stuck with a crap bass amp.I'd be all over one of these new P-Types if they had passive electronics. I guess I'll have to wait a see.

What are we thinking? I'm pretty excited, I've been holding off on buying another V7 in the hopes that something fresh would come from them.
True but I think most people will be happy if they get a Precision tone (even if not a 100% but at 90%) with just the neck pups, they will be happy. These are not true P basses, bridge pickup, active tone circuit, more than 2 knobs, the neck is negotiable but a P bass it's not...
